Cheap.......when i started wfp, it took a few do's to get what looks like a change in how the glass reacts to water.

Only way i can describe it is, its like feeling a wine glass thats been washed in a bowl with soap by hand then feeling another that has just come out of a dishwasher. The one out the dishwasher feels grippy and dry, thats what wfp ends up doing to the windows but it takes quite a few cleans.

Also dont fart about like i did, i know it seems to take longer to start with but blitz the frames and it really makes life easier in the long run plus they look fantastic afterwards

Like the back of this one that only had a 3m gap so I was in a hedge to get up and down the ladder:D

Also 3 of the roof skylight on the back of the property I had to use a ladder & wfp too with only a 2m gap. Before anyone askes they are motor driven so you can't turn them around to clean them from the inside but the rest the customer can do from the inside.

hey hey had a play today.....hmmm....all boxed up and instructions non existent...i erm...had to finish early because ....er...it looked like rain...er.... well it arrived this morning all boxed up and i couldnt wait...

i managed to put the pole and all the bits together...well okay i lost the end cap for a while and was annoyed but found it black against a black settee...

then i tackled the backpack....the instruction manual was....erm...as much use as ....well it was one of those chinese conversions and i dont think they actually read it as it was very amusing....but not a lot of use....

putting the back pack straps on was sheer genius...and of course after filling it with 16 litres of water i come to the conclusion that it aint going on my back...but they look pretty....

and so the first run....out to the back filled it with water and switch on and watch as the water works its way along the miles of plastic tubing....and hey ....it comes out at the brush...rock and roll off we go....and yes its different...and of course it uses different muscles...muscles which havent been used for a long time ...i was getting worried about whether i would ever be able to stick waggle....but you kinda get carried away...and it over comes the pain a bit...

did all the back on the lowest setting and have to draw some conclusions....boy doesnt the water go down fast....

16 litres goes nowhere...i think i may be in need of the four 25litre containers i am eyeing up on ebay.....

hmmmm....whats with the bloomin thing swivelling as the clamps fail to grip...that does my head in...i now know what you lot are gabbing about...and of course the tight wad didnt supply a free allen key ....and i cant find mine....

and what do i do with that extra long loop of pipe grovelling around the floor as i havent extended fully....

but hey...the backpack worked....not so easy to switch on and off though...it this that aqua tap thing you keep going on about...

and i have a feeling ...the clamps are gonna break soon...the brush is pretty cra pish....but hey it worked...i water fed poled my own windows...

okay ....as you know...tap water dont work....but have you seen all the bits to the ro kit...and the plumbing....er think thats a job for another day..still my pole stands all erect... and ready for action...its of course great on facia gutter cleans....

crackin job smurf looks great....dont think my backpack would last that long:D

I will be like watching paint dry using 100 gpd ro as they are so slow producing pure water.

What were you thinking?

good question 0793danny i was wondering that...i got a 100 gpd it sounds a lot...but i suppose its a time thing....

well ....its all a question of money...i do like bigger....eventually....dont forget i still love my ladders...i be just like a monkey:rolleyes:

i was thinking that the vast majority of my work they remain doubled up..so it really is only for a few jobs at present...like the custy who is having the extension roof taken off and a nice glass orangery put on...i cant tap clean that...so i had better get producing..

i will have to train the wife to keep swapping the containers over or else she gets wet feet....

i did hover over the 200 option...

Forget containers and get yourself a 1000 ltr ibc then fill from that instead as will take about 3 days hours (72 hours) none stop to fill that bugger /emoticons/biggrin.png

i am somewhat lucky and have a crackin place to store such a big container....right on the drive almost...so will bear that in mind...of course ...assuming i dont lose my temper and snap the bloomin pole when the bloomin thing keeps turning...or i trip over something...people leave stuff everywhere...

Mind you can always use that fibreglass pole as a skipping rope I suppose /emoticons/biggrin.png

I'm sure you will manage just fine but don't go laying it on the floor and stand on it like I did with my first pole /emoticons/biggrin.png

Hahaha brilliant, good on ya cheap. Brings back memories

What pole have you got? The spinning clamps is WELL ANNOYING innit? Your clamps are either on their way out or the pole could do with lacquering or hopefully just adjusting properly. Is the pipe up to the brush yellow and soft by any chance? If it is get some tougher, stiffer pvc stuff from gardiners or aquadapter, which leads me onto aquadapters/aquataps, the extra pipe that you are wrestling and catchin on everything will be eliminated with a aquadapter fitted you can just leave it, i take it you are running the pipe up the centre of your pole?

Deffo look at getting an ibc, there's a lad near me who sells em for £30 if i remember correctly.

Your doing good pal keep us posted so we can help you as much as poss

ta keir...i was really scared at first...but now ...i wanna do some more.....its kind of addictive...

its only a real cheapo set up ..£365 inc ro pole backpack so cant complain..hopefully i can tighten the clamps if i can find an allen key...now just got to put the ro together ...and that looks scary....lots of bits....
