Mind you it's a very good way of gaining more customers (paid regular work) once you have calmed them down that is /emoticons/biggrin.png

Went round to see father in laws neighbour as I know they need a windie..turns out they are on holiday. but their neighbours arent, knocked on about 20 houses and got 4 customers totalling 55 quid;) I know which road I am canvassing tomorrow. .heehee

Wife didn't believe I could get work this quick..she was thinking I would be doing 2 jobs for months

me thinks dave be leaving the driving behind...i used to have a full estate of three storeys ...best jobs i had loved em..../emoticons/biggrin.png

I like any jobs where I don't have to load up the car between jobs

Just park somewhere central and take spare water in the boot

I used to do a road of a couple hundred houses when I was subbing. .not all of em but it is one of them roads that loops and everyone parks by back gates..had to do all backs then walk to end of road and do all fronts

Sometimes do a back and then custy sees me 3 hours later for front

Whole days work without moving car

er dont think i worked that hard even in my youth...it was four blocks of four flats i think but they had balconies that were done on my smaller ladders carting them up over to the next balcony..started at the top in the morn and ended up at the bottom in time for collecting....oh i miss em..

You certainly knew you'd done a days work

If you have google maps look up jessop rd stevenage

Have to do all backs then walk round and start fronts

Can you beleive the whole road without moving car??

i too kinda love 3 storey work, its the challenge of it. not so funny in winter having said that

It's ok when they are flats surrounded by grass

Dig those feet right in as not anyones actual garden

are you doing the 3 storey on doubles or triples? quite recently i quoted to do 4 storey new build construction clean on 6 houses , the high feature windows went right up to the gables -and were behind sun slats so a pain might av needed a 6 inch squeegee . i took a real gulp and put in a price but didnt get em.

never used a triple since i was with daddy...and that was a big one with the ropes and scary it was...especially getting it around the corner...really :turd: myself doing that....i couldn't do it today ...too:eek:ldy::eek:ldy::eek:ldy:

too heavy to lift you sort of bounce it along ....bouncy bouncy..not one for a windy day...

only got the one job for my big double and quite happy to do it...i park my normal ladder horizontal on the floor against the fence and park my big ladder against that so it cant really go anywhere...the difference if its dry though...i just run up no worries but as in the grand prix today....water makes a big difference to grip....

Wife sent me facebook site to her friends and contacts

5 new quotes last night and 6 today...woohoo
