I survive on between 5 and 6 hours a night..

I have never needed a lot of sleep.

Thik it's the age creeping up I am finding myself feeling tired lately though

Cnc's tiredness may be something to do with his tuffering antics.

Life is very fragile at times:thumbsdown:, sending a man hug:). My dad is 71 and cant believe he is still going, as he's a grumpy so and so at times, I think its because he is a dragon and funded me buying my round. Take care. One of the areas I work, I have taking over a few houses that another windy had, he was only in his fortys and wasnt feeling very well, went to bed and had a heart attack, poor guy, seemingly a nice guy, so it feels a bit awkward doing his houses, as you kind off think of him cleaning them.

I wonder how much we would change about our working ways if we could see into the future, and see how much time we had left.

I have a strong loathing towards painting, worst job in the world, I would rather work in a office:rofl: Im going to pick up my youngest from his auntie n uncle tommorow, as supposed to be raining, so a day off tommorow, might take my seemingly rubbish spectrum resin back to the shop in edinburgh and see if they take it back. Ive got a broken unger ergotec handle to return as well, looking forward to not working, as had three hard days:zzz: No painting for me:)

yeh mr taytay i think the manopause may be over...she does seem to be waking up...

yeh seye...i already thinking along those lines and so am increasing the cost of my services as i realise ....i cant keep going forever...

well windowsurfer....thats life i am afraid...no one knows what lies in store...i mean just yesterday i couldnt be ar sed to get out my wfp for one window and so i decided to stretch....but when i looked back at the ladder it was kinda on one leg...it does make you think how different a day could be....

yeh thankgod i dont do too much painting but....i did get a bit fumed last night...couldnt open the door as the lad was asleep....high as a kite...

Thats a scary thought Seye. I imagine many of us would make massive changes once we were informed of our expiry date. A few of us may be putting our feet up straight away.

There must be a certain point in your life when its wise or advisable to start taking it easier, if the finances allow. A time when you finally decide to stop chasing the cash and to take time off to rest, play, appreciate the simple things in life....like your garden, walking, reading....anything that floats your boat. What age would that be?.

I know the politicians want to see us grafting until 68 or beyond, but I will quite happily tell them what to do with that one.

Contentedness is a great thing, is killing yourself to get a beautiful home and a top notch car really worth it in the end, if there is any advice I can give to the younger generation it is to stay out of debt as much as possible meaning they will not have to work so hard to make ends meet. Funny how the latest gadget was great at the beginning of the week but is **** now version 2 is out, slavery to the machine we all feed we can all get caught up in this, I could go on and on it bugs me rant over.
