Anyone kitted out a car with diy wfp

WCF

Help Support WCF:

i cant see how an Astra is any good if you have ladders- the ones iv seen have the ladders pushed so far forward looks risky of tipping , to get the tailgate open.

one solution might be to have the tailgate glass removed and a 2 part sliding door made up out of aluminium/perspex could take its place. something along the lines of the slider doors on the fryer counter in the local chippy

When I moved out of London as I didn't want my son growing up in the hood where I did I sold my round and had other plans (lesson learnt don't ever go into business with a partner..even a mate as it doesn't work out)Started up on the glass again bit subbed all my work off a big boy round here covering his staffs holidays, sickness etc and was taking £200 of work off him a day and paying him 20% so had around £160 a day without the grief of running it.

He told me one friday that he had sold it and was retiring so no more work...had to pay the bills so took a paye job..worst mistake. .should have just got out there banging on doors...lesson learnt and will be a windy for the rest of my days as I have only ever been happy in work when I've been on the glass.

Sorry for the essay boar
thats intresting to read. what age did the big boy retire at approx?

In his 50s

He didn't fully retire as he did a plumbimg course to keep him in a little work now and then

Here is a pic of the smallest wfp car to date....hmmm I wonder where he sticks his pole?

That's as much good/practical for wfp work as a chocolate fireguard

Ppl sell rounds for a number of reasons but I can't blame them trying to get as much for them as they can. Good compact long established work is what seems to fetch good money.

Mind you after saying that I would never buy a round myself.

not for quite sometime. but itd be good to hear of at least half a dozen who retired in style. dont want to hear of anybody who then does a plumbers course- tho perhaps that was just to do to stave off boredom , replumbing the mansion perhaps

Myself I do this as a hobby just to keep me off the streets so to speak /emoticons/biggrin.png

My trailer set up is bigger than that lol

I have seen i lad with a 125 ltr tank fitted in a corsa

To be fair the guy that owns that smart car built it for a laugh as the car is used for promotional work mostly and doing shops fronts by trad as is easer to park that thing than one of his wfp vans /emoticons/biggrin.png

Yes i'v kitted out a seat cordoba estate with 100 litre tank, which fits snug in the boot leaving plenty of room for di vessel, hose reel ,pump box and trad gear.

my setup prob cost 700 including the car lol
