As you can see, they haven't wasted time on fancy gel coat finishes, but you can have them applied, with your company decals or names if you want, could be handy as a theft deterrent thing....

Are those clamps the ones when the pole sections are not extended locks into place to stop them spinning when the pole wears?

I've been dealing with Ariel from Lanbao. She's easiest to contact on Skype, her contact name is Arielfu101

I'm not sure if these are the same as you're talking about, but they certainly do clamp the individual sections well, regardless of whether or not they're fully extended, and they're adjustable so can be tightened as wear occurs. Hope that helps?

Are these poles from china?

Would it not be better to get a high modulus waterfed pole? Aren't they even lighter

Yes, they do high modulus too, but enviably more expensive, so I wanted to try out the cf first. I have one of their cf 45' poles, and I have to agree with the nearly 5kg weight quoted.

The Gardiner equivalent is 2' longer and over a kilo lighter. But then it costs £899 plus VAT and postage. For that kind od money you can buy a 55' high modulus pole and a couple of 30' cf's from Lanbao. Food for thought....

Myself I think I would rather have a more ridged pole that weighs a bit more than a floppy one that weighs less.

There is nothing more frustrating than a floppy pole I can tell you /emoticons/biggrin.png

I've heard it said, it's true....

Just to clarify - The Gardiner equivalent (Super-Max45) is actually only £606+VAT with free shipping and is about 2kg lighter.
