Pole help i'm lost

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I started with the Brodex system so had their poles too (aluminium) then bought and unger pole then after a year and a half I finally purchased a SLX22 about 3 months ago .

Now I don't know how I ever done without it , I use it for all my houses from bungalows to 3 story :)

What do you think of the clamps tencho771? Those that I have spoken to, have thought the poles & clamps were the best that they have had.

Just out of interest where has the pole worn, after a years use?

the poles have worn on the fully extended clamping point only manly the number section number 2 is starting to were an very strangely the number 3 has started wering in the closed pershion!!!, i luv the clamps there so quick in use im not keen on sideways clamps my self also they dont need tweeking all the time maby once every 2 months

I use a clx 18 for everyday use and the Slx 25 for 3 storeys, sometimes it makes a change just to use a different pole! Sad eh
Haha same here, cant seem to use the same combo of pole/ brush for more than a day. Just geeking out and running with it lol

Just love opening the boot and choosing which brush i'm gonna use for that days bit of work, today i used both poles and four different brushes lol love it!!

i also vote for the gardiner poles. I had clx22 first then bought the slx22. the latter is much better, lighter and rigid. its worth the money. the clx is good but feels lots more heavy and bendy.

slx 22 no problems at all ,and rigid, used facelift22 clamps great but nothing but bother poles sticking, really bendy

30 ft glyder ionics only used it for high work, when first started used this pole all the time ,honestly thought something was wrong sore arms , chest.

then bought slx22 why I did,int buy this to start with

gd pole get it right and brush and your on your way

Ive just ordered an SLX 25 /emoticons/smile.png coming tomorrow so is there anything i need to do before using it? and small mods or tips etc?

and also how do you guys go about cleaning it and how often?

Good choice bud, nope their bomb proof just unpack connect to your reel and enjoy!!! Lol

Friggin broke my brand new phoenix yesterday!!!! Got sick of the rubber end falling off as usual for facelift, so super glues it on......buzzin

Went to fully extend it...........doh!!! Managed to glue that aswell. Tried to free it but ended up freeing the clamp instead!!, so now i have to strip it to remove super glue and re glue the clamp. Not a happy bunny lol

Sorry Keir, but that's funny /emoticons/biggrin.png

other peoples pain often is.../emoticons/biggrin.png..its the real life stories like that we like...but...i feel your pain keir...dont worry ...its our turn soon..now that pot of cacti just survived the tug on my pipe the other day...just....

i sometimes think the custys do it on purpose to wind us up....

Hahaha yeah i know, but what annoyed more is i pretty much always have my slx in the trailer too but THE only day i don't and that happens lmao.

I must of put a tad too much super glue on, last time i glued the rubber end on with the pole stripped so just the base section on its own. That'll teach me to cut corners

PMSL ...You plonker rodney
