How much pure water do you use on a full days work?

now with my two new barrels i will reach the dizzy heights of 130 litres a day...mind you ...on my 100gpd ro ....thats gonna take some time to make...

Must say it's amazing how fast you can complete a house when the owners at work , down to nearly a hour now on my £65 house, be happy when I get it to 45 mins /emoticons/smile.png

mine produces 210 ltr in around 8 hours, so you should be fine. Trick is having excess barrels and fill them during weekend /emoticons/smile.png currently have 16 and doing fine, but not for long. Already looking at bigger van with tank for next tax year.

ta aj....i am defo going for a separate big water storage tank as....divvy keeps overflowing and wasting my valuable pure...so one big holding tank and small pump into the barrels...must go shopping:rolleyes:

Planning on having two 210 litre butts next to each other with a link pipe, I was going to get a IBC tank, but its a bit unsightly.

Also planning to have (as it will be outside) a pond heater set low in the winter to keep it from freezing and a pond pump on a hose to fill the barrels in the back of the pick up.

Get an auto shut off kit, reverse osmosis kit off eBay for 17.99. That will shut your water off once your butt is full. I bought 2 x210 ltr butts but, since I've fitted that the other 1 is redundant. You don't need to produce more than you use: )

L200 warrior, the back is pretty decent sized, considering getting a 200l baffled tank in the back, but I do also need to consider getting my pressure washer and gutter vac in when I need them, plus poles etc.

I have the butts works well

Using a pickup has got it merits I suppose in winter months but surely it's impractical to carry a decent size tank, poles etc for wfp work?

I've already talked over the dimensions with Rhauni at sureclean. We can fit a 400ltr flat tank, one hose reel secured , R.O , pump etc. That allows me to close roller door and the poles can be clipped on roof bars and taken off at night.

JD and Diwrnach are the pickups double or single cabs. Been toying with the idea of getting a static system in garage for filtration then just a tank in the back of my double cab Hilux

Double cab mate, but I can easily get 300 litres in the back if I wanted to, I don't at the moment use that much though. Only problem is I also have a gutter hoover, pressure washer, generator, 8 meter long reach jet washing lance etc etc, so I kind of have to swap between window and gutter and pressure washing mode depending what I am doing.

My pick ups my family car, had it ages before I started doing this line of work so just makes sense to use it instead of buying a van separate. Plus so far it works fine.
