how long till they get back to you ? do you get any that get back to you within 48 hours ?

i posted over 200 today. toke me about 2 hours.

planning on posting 300/400 tomorrow.

i will be going canvassing when the weather is better /emoticons/biggrin.png

I've had someone come out door before flyer hit the floor and I've had a couple saved flyer for weeks until they wanted it done.

try canvasing the area you posted the cards to, as people like to see you before hiring you.

to be honest i have have very little work from posting a card and not following through.

Hard work is what is needed

You need to be putting cards out in a place that badly needs a window cleaner. I have put out 100s and not had 1 call. Tho I have had people call me up to 2 years after ( just 1 ) i would only do a drop for gutter cleaning flyers. Honestly I wouldn't waste my time trying for windows. Your better just knocking the doors

could be a while

could be stright away

i droped some before and had 2 people ring be back before id finished the stret and some ring few weeks later

i dont knock on doors so just put cards out some ring within hours some ring months later.

to be fair best way is when your out with the ladders you get people asking you to do theres.

Ak what sort of numbers have u droped and rough response from them ?
ive dropped 1000s mate not massive response but got all my houses this way. i got nothing from door knocking, and i dont like doing it/all it seems to do is wind people up not for me it works for guys but not me.

biggest amount of my houses are in one area others are scattered about some places are crying out for windys others just arnt you wont get any out of a street of 100 but go to another area and you find 20 in one street.

if it wasnt for **** hole estates id have no houses i stay away from the money people they dont want to pay and moan like sin;)

I agree witg AK Windows i find ppl hate ppl knocking on there doors selling stuff or services or asking for trades.

Only time i talk is if there out on the front on drive, i leaflet rest of area and mixture of the two i find is best way.

iv had some ring that daY others a week or two... i had a carpet cleanin job from some previous flyers ages ago and it was a year after i posted it

same here theres no set time they call when they call i get the best response from canvassing but i target houses that look bad and get a good response from this i know some people dont like or agree with cold calling but thats a personal choice

For the outlay and time it takes dropping the flyers of unless your following it up with door knock day or 2 after is bit of waste of time and money. I dropped close to 1000 off before I started n got one phone call now if I door knocked tht I'd expect to get least 10

do you not think that if they havet called you they dont want a you?

if a guy posted a flyer in my mail box then came back 2 days later i would say,i would have rang if i wanted your service lol.

round me they all have no cold callers on the letter box and most have no leaflets/flyers due to all the ****y takeaways yer see its the white windy that gets it in the neck when he knocks at the door:dodgy:

I'm going to try putting on my flyer put this in your window if you want a quote, seems to work for a few

You get a lot of people don't actually like speaking to people on phone. And window cleaning isnt a necessity like say plumber in my experience you have better chance from knocking
