Ian my brother works all the hours god sends investing peoples money for about 4.5k a month take home pay and his brother in law earns over 100k and they both say they are jealous as I am the happy one with no oncoming heart attack in the near futureProblem is they say they would love to do it but are afraid of that awfull swear word called (hard) graft

Good on you mate

As I always say "can't spend it when your dead so be happy and do what you want to do"
I wasn't an investment man, i was pure operations management so its nice to run my own operation without the hassle of 450 people and brass who are soo far up there own its unbelievable....you would not believe the time wasted on debating whether there should be full stops after bullets on powerpoint slides.......

True - I have another with an easier name to remember, but thats aimed at the American market,.. I'll have to build my self a UK specific site if I ever get a spare minute!

could well be but it's still a hard one to remember don't you think?/emoticons/tongue.png

Hi Ian,

I'm originally from Staffordshire - now living in Co. Cork, Ireland.

It depends on the site & the platform its built on,.. I tend to stick to HTML sites and wordpress, if your site is built with Magento/Joomla/Wix etc I'd be honest & say there are other specialists out there who'd be able to do a better job on those platforms than me,..

Wordpress & HTML sites though are something I can work wonders with & usually get great results. /emoticons/smile.png

Njones impressive website:) you uk or us based ? if i already had a design and hosting could you optimse for multi media usage and google rankings ?

Off the cuff question Njones...if i had a basic functional HTML website could you optimise me to page 1 of google similar to the bournemouth gutter guy? If so roughly what would the cost be ? Happy to discuss offline if easier Cheers Ian

Bournemouth is unfortunately one place I can't help you with - I've already got a client there with a couple of websites & he's paid me well for his positioning. /emoticons/wink.png

Mr Smart I presume Nat?

Aah but I'm in Poole... And do windows primarily......[emoji6]

Worth a try I suppose /emoticons/biggrin.png

If it was me @Njones I would do work for anyone that pays me well regardless where others live

Yep, I've done a few sites for Andy, Window cleaning & Gutter cleaning, both Poole & Bournemouth.

The issue with SEO is that I'd be competing with myself for the same keywords, and because his sites have the advantage of being established it would be very hard to beat them no matter what I do!

I Understand Njones, i'll have to look elsewhere and try and find those keywords which will beat yours ...now theres a challenge !/emoticons/wink.png

Just visit a site you are interested in then right click anywhere on the page. Next a dropdown list will appear so select "view source code" or something similar whichever browser you are using and bobs your uncle as they say /emoticons/biggrin.png
