Help Support WCF:

@J D slightly off topic but I noticed your comments/questions on one of the skyvac vids posted last month. What did he actually say as I can't see any of his replies?

You were right that it is better to mount camera below the bend instead of on the top of the poles, after 1 gutter job case was scratched heavily...

Mine is too after I smacked it on a few tiles today using it on a bare wfp /emoticons/biggrin.png

without a micro card in it. That's why I got one while I was in currys buying the gopro.

Regarding bashing it about on tiles I've just butchered that cheap silicon cover I got so now it fits having a bacpac fitted to the gopro. Gives a bit of protection for the front, top, bottom & sides of the case also can open the back door to get the camera out more quickly too.

Pic's & vid's I think are important to take too not just for survey work but as a before & after record of the jobs completed. Not only that you can show customers and/ or add them on your own website to help promote your services.

I used preview to see what I was doing, no pictures needed.it is main reason for using gopro for me

As an example pic this job was a bit of challenge as the customer said it had never been cleaned before ever and I believed him

I was also asked if I could paint the stink pipe but said "sorry no I don't do painting"

I had similar one last saturday gutter clear and gutter, soffits, fascias clean 7 hours with pressure washer/ wfp and scrubbing with cilit bang/pvc cleaner. Still not perfect but you cannot make it new:(

That 4 bed detached property took approx 6 hours to do including clearing the gutters first with a guttervac then a quick wash over with hot pure wfp to get most of the **** off the plastics. Then finished off by hand using ladders plus a free wfp window clean afterwards.

By the time I had finished I was knackered./emoticons/biggrin.png

Speaking of challenges I have to clear the gutters front an back then clean the outside of the guttering, fascia, soffit front and back including the conservatory roof and box gutters on this one.

Now that is going to be quite a challenge even for me

thats scary...i had to replace a roof tile for next door ...right above the glass conny roof...i didnt enjoy that...

it s funny when i pointed the ridge next door i was much more scared looking down on their glass roof than when i got to my side and looked at just the drop ....both would hurt!

i have a funny one which banana does now and the effect was great.....it starts out a wide roof above a flat garage roof and as you tile walk along the garage roof goes but the angle of the roof remains the same and yet the fear factor increases and then the final window the roof goes much shorter....i never liked that one...yet the roof angle never changed...thank god for banana....

thats a big job mr smurf...
