I'm going to have to buy these magic sponges, 200 for £10.90 on eBay...... It's a must. Rshandyman TFR works a treat. I wouldn't go without it /emoticons/smile.png

Tuffers said don't get the ones that look blueish in the pictures on ebay as they are shite

Can get em from china for around 6-10 quid for 100

You can get caustic or none caustic tfr so yes there is a difference. Also the concentration varies too so need to look at that as well or you could be paying over the odds for a 25ltr drum that is mostly water.

What do you guys mean by a 'Tiger Stripe'? on guttering.

(I know what they are on Tigers, before anyone chips in, ha ha).

Grey lines of discoloured / dirty water that runs down the plastic in the same place and leaves a stain.

Or another definition of tiger strips is stubborn black marks/streaks that don't come off white plastic without using some sort of cleaner on them.

A Magic sponge is just a brand name for melamine sponge which is a very fine abrasive that why it works

So non caustic or caustic is better?I have used viro-sol and it works. harder stains, less diluted.in general I use 1 viro 3 parts of water.
