Myself I would go with a 4021 or 4040 ro/di if your budget would allow. At least then you can produce water a lot quicker so would save money long term especially if on a water meter. Best to stay away from the cheap china membranes though as @doug atkinson would say too.

 
You are not alone as when I started I just trusted a supplier to sort me out as I never used a forum for impartial advice to what to get. At least here you can ask question and even suppliers will chip in which is nice too.

 
To clean sticky tree sap from plastic frames & glass I found out today hot pure wfp method just melts it away.

I would have used a chem boost first but thought I would try just hot pure water first to see what happens. I was amazed that it worked so well as cold pure water didn't touch it.

Can't really see how bad it was in the pic but the frames & glass was minging

Far too cheep, to everyone that quotes to little remember this. It's short term thinking - all you are doing is knocking the money out of the game for everyone /emoticons/sad.png An all round house like that in Essex including frames and doors/garage door should be a minimum of £15.oo (so long there is no cony)
