Hi

As the title suggests has anyone got recommendations for an angle adapter to fit a harris pole for trad work.

cheers

ash

You could mod it to take a wfp gardiner quick loc plastic angle adaptor then like @H MAN does he mods his trad gear to fit it. @Alex Gardiner also sells a none locking cone end for the quick loc system too.

View attachment 3038 i fitted an Anza tip took off a Anzapole , to my Harris. this then takes a Wagtail angle adapter or a wagtail squeegee on its own , wagtail fits perfectly to Anza tip

Anza poles are short poles , excellent for downstairs work , they are sold side by side to the Harris in BnQ . the Anza tip as it comes is a tad too small inside diameter to fit the harris pole , i drill mine out to fit using a rasp on an electric drill

If you buy a Harris metal broom handle. Cut about 6 inches off the end where you would screw on the broom. Cut the end of the Harris pole & with some epoxy resin fit the broom handle end onto the Harris pole. It will set rock hard. An angle adapter will fit this.

Just seen a ro unit on gumtree ref 1081335247 in Manchester.

Looks like a collings 4 stage ro unit from the picture would this be suitable for a wfp system

Can't remember exactly how I did it as it was so long ago but I remember it being very easy to just drill out the rivot and remove the acme head from the harris pole and fit an unger angle adapter in place.

Make sure it's the metal type though like the one above as the plastic type bend and break in no time.

I think wagga's got a video on it somewhere.

Mart.
