Public liability insurance

Who would you guys highly recommend for public liability insurance?

Services would include the usual Windows (WFP and Trad) PVC cleaning Conservatory cleaning, Gutter clearing etc.

Yes I have a contractors policy that covers all the services and more that I want to do with gleaming./emoticons/smile.png

Simplybusiness came up with Sherwood underwriting @ £381.92 for the same £2,000000 cover as gleaming

i went with simply business because they were the only insurer i could find who did PL and EL [employers} on a combined policy at a reasonable rate . some quotes i got for EL from other insurers were thru the roof! or others did cheap PL insurance but they point blank didnt do EL insurance

Yeah I understand, Makes sense. Luckily for me its only myself I need PL for so can't moan at £200

I tried to get cover that included products & property being worked upon (not just public liability) with a few including simply business for the services I offer. It was such a pain trying to explain what I wanted with many saying I will have to call you back so I gave up. Then to my delight I found gleaming that had the proper cover I was looking for.

constructaquote quoted me £67 + £1000,000 liability, for all exterior cleaning + glass breakage, A plan quoted me £74

i must admit ...public liability insurance is hard to get.....not a lot of places do it....apparently my policy is not enough for what ever his name is to make me a meerkat....booooo
