nope but i have wondered about them...a lot of surveyors use em....i do need a smaller ladder....would be handy in the car...

i bought one of those multi ladders recently but....its so bloomin heavy....its heavier than my normal ladder....thats not going to get a lot of use...but ...at least its feels strong and safe.../emoticons/biggrin.png

I've always wanted one, but not for window cleaning, I could imagine it being a PITA, but I knew a window cleaner that used one exclusivly.

I have one. Although, I do not like the fact that they are one piece. Not strong enough really... The buttons need silicone spray on them loads other wise every thing gets stuck etc. and they are not long enough. Only 3.8m

I use one. Mainly for access to flat roofs etc. It gets some inside use too on high staircase windows. Useful tool to have on the van.

They are as much use as a chocolate fire guard if you ask me.

i just get this vision of being at the top as they collapse one rung at a time down....

i use my loft access ladder which is really cra p but very light....you soon learn to make sure that both plastic things are through the holes....scary

WTF

yep i did say it was cra p....but if they are not both through and you get to the top of the ladder.... caught me out twice...and i suppose if the little plastic lugs go ...snappy snappy....

I have a telescopic ladder. Its not a cheap version mind, so quite safe.

Positive locking mechanism. No plastic catches on the one I have.

Xtend & Climb is the make i think.

I bought it for when i used to to work in London, where you could not carry a normal ladder up the internal staircases. I call it my 'London Ladder'.

But while it is great for specific uses, its not a day to day ladder. Heavy!

For internal use in offices etc it is a great get you out of trouble tool.

For external use, i imagine it would not last very long.

Horses for courses.

probably okay if you are about 8 stone or thereabouts
Hmmm, I reckon I should be alright if I buy one ladder for each foot, and rest my beer gut on the sill to take off the other half a stone.

Xtend & Climb Pro is probably the best of all telescopic ladders but are not cheap.

Yes but the manufacturing costs of making these ladders must be very high.

I think you should pay as much as possible to support these people so that they can keep making them.
