Had more than normal custys ask me in the last few weeks. Most seem to think winter is November to February which worries me about their intelligence since winter is actually a month later but back to the topic, had a few last year.... About 3 stopped and this year so far on about 6. Pity since if I find someone to replace them they are dropped. But I know whats going to happen... I will move them march and charge them double for a first clean.

I found that they are mostly old folk too that like to save their money and puts it towards the winter heating bill /emoticons/biggrin.png

Too right mate. I wouldn't scrap them completely, but i would remove their priviliges so to speak. If they have any sense they'll soon realise that theirs not a lot to be saved.

I had one last week who suggested she was going to drop me from Dec to March, so I just said "thats ok but my round is just about full and I have people waiting to book me. so I cant guarantee I would have a place for you next March"...? Her reply "oh, I dont want to lose you, it doesn't mater just carry on as normal.....lol

The only reason why I keep the odd one or two like that is I have to pass them on my round so is no skin off my nose so to speak just to miss them out.

Was a 50/50 chance so far play to you /emoticons/biggrin.png

I have a customer that I agreed with at the start that we would do this. They are a B&B and get their windows cleaned regularly during their main 'season'. In winter they don't really have residents, so don't worry much about their windows. I may get a call if they get bad, otherwise I don't expect to hear from them till the spring.

But as I said, I agreed to this when I took on the work. Others, I generally try to talk around to keeping with year round cleaning. The winter really is a dirty time for windows in my area.

When it's pre arranged that's fine, you know exactly where you are when you start.

Agreed^. Its a form of dishonesty since the price you give them is based upon frequency, so if they make up when they want them done down the line, then they are breaking the terms of the contract.
