Pencil or fan jet?

WCF

Gardiner new brushes coming out soon....

Now already they come with 4 holes so you can order them with both wide fan & pencil jets fitted if you wanted.

Not tried fan yet, but every time I research them I come away thinking pencil is better, need to try them at some point.

I never got on with fan jets , had ionics poles and the fan jet wash on the angle head which I always manages to smash off , very happy with pencil jets and think they use less water

Tried pencils but switched to fan jets & haven't looked back!

High flow, rinse on the glass... sped me up no end!

Strange but true... a higher flow with fans allows me to use less water than I did with pencils!

What brush do you use? I'm using the Gardiners flocked ATM, it feels as though the bristles are like needles.

Even though it says on the Gardiner site that flocked brushes are ok for rinsing on the glass, I'm skeptical...

I can't help but think that the "frayed" ends of the flocked bristles would hang onto some of the dirt which would then be dragged back down the glass on the rinse... I could be wrong though!

Simple question,
I can't make my mind up what i prefer, everyone else?

Only you will know which you prefer! But the brush is usually on the glass when cleaning

For speed on maintenance cleans 2mm pencil jets and at least 2lt of water per minute, if you decide to move/clean faster than your usual speed, turn water flow rate up to compensate for your pace.

With a decent cleaning method, you don’t need to rinse every pane of glass you clean, the brush and pure water has already done that to most of the windows, sometimes you will have to rinse, but definitely not every pane of glass on each and every building you service.

I have pencil and fan jets fitted to my gardiner medium mixed brush, I seem to use the fans the most, my thinking is they are better for hydrophobic glass(beads up) for rinsing and cant be bothered changing it to pencils even tho its a quick change to try them again.

Same here. Had 3 full sets of Gardiner fan jets before I got a pair that worked. Always switched from jet to fan. After finding a decent pair, I just stick to fan now, with a high flow rate. Seems to use less water oddly. Tried a few brass sets of flea bay, but didn't like the pattern as much. Could still go back to jet lol

makes you laugh one time all you had to worry about was changing your rubbers on your squeegee , washing clothes,, getting dried for tomorrow, little bits ands bobs nothing major.

now RO water getting to 0000, poles, brushes, vans ,.hoses, even pencil jets. When your grafting must say nowt really goes wrong
