I'm sure it will not make much difference as the fines of the glass are pointing the other way up on that bit of phobic glass hence why it don't sheet.
Sorry to be so dumb. What to you mean when you say the fines of the glass are pointing the other way up?

sorry to jump on,my pump went today aswell, and something i'm not too happy about-a new pump will be found,in the meantime replacement ones will be sent out to those that request them no problems,

when i did the courses on making glass furniture many years ago i learnt that although glass is hydrophilic when i comes out of the factory the effects of the atmosphere can change some panes-this is my next project and one i have been working on and off for a few years now, under a microscope glass looks like lets say the pyrenees with lots of peaks and troughes-thats where the water and dirt molecules sit amongst others, theres not a grain or direction to glass at all,

Can you send me a new one out please once your source decent ones

Oh well that is my theory blow wide open then /emoticons/biggrin.png

Don't worry about me, mine works now. When I turned the top to the open position when I first got it, it would pump, but nothing would come out. I undid it and tried pumping it and then screwed it back on and it worked.

I cleaned a glass conny roof today and ....... It was a nightmare, I couldn't tell if I had rinsed the bits off or not , but, I enjoyed using it on windows more today. You do feel if this stuff is a cleaning agent too . It's a bit like using Ecover on your brush and scrubbing it over the glass, you just know it's cleaning the glass.
