Thanks shiny, thinking of a new tactic, a lot of people i know live in the suburbs of West London nowadays, Hounslow, Isleworth which is where i was born and other areas there like Feltham, Twickenham. not so many of those big Edwardian houses in them areas, not that i mind them but some have deep gardens which my ladder is no good for, (go up steps to front door, 8 ft drop down to the garden) daveboy will know what i mean, so will get myself to them areas as well. was thinking of moving out to that bit of West London soon anyhow so might be the way forward.

Try wembley mate

All round salmon street and round blackbird hill as it turns to neasden

A bit out the way but not too much

i had a lot round that way before i moved away

Between the 2 mini roundabouts and kingsbury roundabout is worth a punt

Some council and some big posh ones too

Yeah good idea daveboy1, but isleworth and them other areas are closer as you know, will stick with them for now but if things don't go so well will try wembley as well, traffic there though is a mare!

Anyway done them gutters and cleans today, started the first gutter job just as it was getting light, thankfully the front of one was choccer with mud and leaves but the back easy peasy, same with the other one only took me 45 minutes with the windows as well on each one. the two cleans without gutters were good jobs as well, i done the inside front window of one as well, the lady gave me two cans of stella, i can't stand the stuff but it was nice of her(give me a rattler cider anyday over stella). on leaving the job in my mates car(result) i noticed the nieghbours had fake snow on there windows so will go back and knock on that door tomorrow. Thanks for all the encouragement people really appreciate it.

Stan Bowles. My hero. Best English player I ever saw. Was at wembley in 82 (never a pen?) & 86. Grew up following the R's. moved from hackney & lost touch. To far to go. Still have a soft spot for them.

It was against your mob to. Currie & Hoddle on the same pitch at wembley. You don't get that nowadays.

And since I move away I don't drop my H's anymore lol.

Should of been an O's fan really I spose but they didn't have bowlesy

I moved to leafy Ertfordshire

Can't change how i speak me old son

Only 28 miles from central London but everyone here says i speak like a wrong un

I drop the odd cockney slang into a conversation sometimes but not a lot now. Why when yer from the smoke do people think yer a wrong en. I love going back down Oxford st at Xmas & that. It's a great city.

I love London but in the other hand i didn't want my son growing up in the hood

Wife is from stevenage so i moved there

I do miss Harlesden on a friday night heehee

A pint and a fight lol
