if you want full carbon then sky vac gutter sucker poles are probably the best

I have aqua fed poles with quick release clamps good poles but I'm buying full carbon as I'm doing a lot of gutter clearing now and can get the cost back for the poles quick as they are around £700--£1000 for a set

How do you find the poles, ie for sucking big stuff up? Are they wide enough? Got pi55ed off with my vac on Saturday. The inlet kept blocking with leaves and the filter bag got wet and the suction went. I'm in 2 minds whether to flog mine and stick to the progutter tools. Sick of the flexi pipe dribbling **** out in my van after a job and the whole lot takes up too much space in my garage.

the nilfisk is a good vac 4 the money, rarely gets blocked, the inlet is 51mm.they do take up space & you still have 2 get your **** up the ladder regulary

It is still very handy equipment to have

your right rshandyman its a way to earn more income.if you've got regular customers & you don't clean there gutters if asked, they'll find some one else, this could leave a gap 4 some one 2 take your work.this I why I bought a gutter vac which u can chuck in the back of the van.speculate 2 accumulate.

Like I said before @Tuffers using a guttervac does have limitations to what they can do but I always carry one in the van so I have a choice of what method to use. I often use both ladders and guttervac on the same job.

To be honest with you I am advertising gutter cleaning as my core business,I found better money with less hassle then windows.

Tuffers, in my experience leaves are the most likely thing to clog the vac. I also have 50mm hose and inlet and it keeps blocking with leaves. But, if you don't try to lift too many at once it reduces the blockages. Also, I know that leaves do it, and its a short part of the year so I just live with it. It's less frustrating than trying to fight it and wondering what is wrong.

Filter bag… I don't use a cloth bag unless the weather and thus debris is dry. I use a plastic sheet to protect the vac.

Just fold the top over the edge of the drum, over the inlet and place on your motors to hold it in place.

The bottom of the plastic hangs free.
