hi just be offered a round it's worth £1040 a year . its a fortnightly one 4 one week and 8 the next week , all are shops close together and i do some there already . ??? what kind of price would you be looking to buy it . cheers in advance ,.

Why don't you just canvas those shops yourself instead?

When I hear of bits of work for sale like that alarm bells start to ring as to why the person wants to get shot.

i thought aboot doing that might still do , the lads had enough and is jacking them in . cheers lads

they may be bad payers, we usually pass bad payers on or just dump them.

i have a big job i have just started to do. very big private house with lots of land, ive done it once, walking in town on a sunday morn got eye contact after recognising her + hubby went to say morning her facial expression showed she seen me but just ignored me as if to say its only the window cleaner not worth aknowledging

thinking twice about doing them again now people try to be different if they think they are a better class of people within the big house.

to me everyone is the same money or not. IT COSTS NOTHING TO BE NICE its free makes you a better person.

i chat to all my customers , and listen to them. i find it great. especially when the gossip starts

Had same myself about a year back got totally blanked when eye contact made'he knew who I was alright,I got real hump over it and dropped straight away I'm not having that ....never heard from them to this day"".......perhaps they wanted shot who knows,

But I remember how condescending he had been on a couple of occassions, this for me confirmed it.

that work will open doors for you, you are buying into a area

i,m saying your work in that area will double easy in couple of years

it did with me when I bought graft

Id just visit those shops anyway and offer your services, save your money.

The blokes a gimp if he thinks it's worth £800

check the shops out, if they are ENGLISH they will want them cleaned regular.

go and introduce yourself in logo top if you wear them, tell them you are canvassing in this area, ask them if they are happy with there windy at present. they may say no or yes. if they say yes then the work will be regular as he describes. but £800 is too much. take you just under a year to start to make any proffit .

get the price lowered.

you need to see the prices broke down for each shop, work out if they are worth it. 4-5 cleans is still a lot. why does he want rid.

he may find it hard to get regular payments.

if you still want to go ahead with it let him know you will need to do them with or without him, just tell shop keepers you are helping him out. if you are happy with this its your money.

you can still canvass anywhere you want. no law saying you cant.

how do you think we all got our work. may take years but it is better than the national wage.
