Scratched glass

Happy new year all! A customer has just cancelled me as she reckons my brush has scratched her windows! Windows are very old leaded, on old farmhouse. I use very soft gardiner brush on them which is always clean. Scratching them ain't possible surely?

More likely the windows have been cleaned properly for the first time in ages so has just highlighted any old scratches on the glass. Either that they just wanted an excuse to dump you maybe?

Haha yeah I think they did, her husband is so tight it's untrue! They were a pair of bell ends anyway!

If its thr really old lead I find dirt can make its way into the gaps of the lead and glass , on old jobs I've seen stones in these areas, and I have seen odd scratches caused by it ,but I'm talking old lead like 100 plus years
