Was dreading picking up the pole and waving it about a bit after the Xmas break but infact the reality is I have really enjoyed it. It's great to be back at work and watching the money poor in.

It was certainly nice to get back to work but not so sure about it being productive......I lost 1.5 days because of **** weather. Cant work today because of the wild winds.

Gained 7 new customers this week so managed to put more pressure on myself......all were neighbours to existing customers so permissable according to mrtaytays new customer rules.

Same here Tay...blowing a gale today so can't get out to make up lost days during the week....only managed 2 full days this week. Had a great day on Monday was really up for work after the hols...then it all went downhill after that,.....oh well soon be Monday..../emoticons/smile.png

I am up to date but wanted to do 2 one off jobs today

The trees are bending in the wind so its a no no for me

I had a rubbish week too. Really messed up my 'fresh start' put me behind right away.
Yep that's the nature of the beast I am afraid....and as you say put behind and move on next weeks another week

Its rare for me to have a saturday off so its nice to have a chilled saturday morning. The mrs is at work, then I am taking the daughter to work at 12, the lad will be holed up in mission control, so I will have a chilled afternoon, listening to the footy, making orange wine and having a few in play bets

I'm trying to relax at home but all these kids are doing my nut in, and now the sun's shining and the winds calmed a bit I may ditch the family and do a bit

I was going to do a bit this weekend but I cancelled due to the high winds.

Also about an hour ago an old boy customer phone me up asking if I could replace his shed roofing felt as it's just been torn off his roof. I passed that one on to my handyman friend as you do.

The winds have been dangerously strong today. No chance of working. I have noticed throughout the day that our windows have got muckier and muckier. They look grey and murky now.......hopefully it hasnt been another of cncs "storm of slime". Are you listening cnc......I am issuing a formal "storm of slime" alert!!

too late...i cleaned over the road spotless yesterday and had to nip over and do em again...grrrrrr

but lucky its directional so only the back needed doing...just think of all the windows i cleaned this week for no apparent reason.....still thats life...

been out delivering mags with the wife...of course i had to have three in the pub to get me going....and of course ...my cards are going out in every mag....stand by the phone..came back to two new jobs not from my cards so a busy week next week...

a while ago.....i nipped over to check his lordships conny windows as i clean em twice a month...they were filthy so i was annoyed...went across to do them the next day and the rain had cleaned them over night so i left em....so you can never telll whats going to happen .....

all pure done and ready so all ready for work on monday but er.....the xmas stink that came in my car from wet carpets isnt going ....

I went out shopping with the mrs which i hate and got a text from a custy saying can i add her next door neighbour to my list who has identical house so no need to go price it up and a phone call from someone who i leafleted over a month ago

23 quid new work while shopping isn't bad

The one from a leaflet is in a road of 62 houses of which i have 8 already so good for condensing

With the low suns weve had recently I've found its been a great week for picking up bypassers. I got two in the past 4 days. Thats quite good formeas I'm a miserable looking fker when Im on the windows- its usually the time I have mini arguments with myself about things the mrs has said/done. /emoticons/biggrin.png
