I use WFP 80% of the time, but i dont class myself WFP WC

profesional WC sounds more like it

what ever method is best for the job is what I will use, so if it is quicker trad that is what I will use everytime, I will never use ladders when it is safer and quicker WFP

when you can WFP & trad you have more strings to your bow

Come on smurf, you're not being serious now. None of the tradders including myself have gotten the hump, all I'm saying is that I don't buy the bull$hit. Its made worse by the fact that even a knowledgeable member like yourself can't back up the claims with any kind of informed argument.

I've got nothing against the tool, the profitability, and the improved safety,and from what I've seen, no one else has. What I'm fed up of is the made up and exaggerated claims, the total refusal to accept that the method has its own set of unique deficiencies, and the way some WFPers on here are very quick to bash trad, while hiding behind the "its the operator" line.

Thats mostly to do with profit and safety. So I wish WFPers would just say that instead of the other stuff that gets spouted.

I've not got the hump smurf, just sticking up for folk whos livelihoods depend on the trad method that are getting bashed with pseudo science. And I never said that WFP didnt clean, I'm just saying it doesnt clean better as being claimed. It doesnt bother me either way since I may make the switch myself as I'm not anti WFP, I'm just anti bull****.

Anyone can buy a WFP setup too. This forum gets a newbie on it just about every month talking about their new WFP setup, yet no customers to speak of. /emoticons/biggrin.png

Think the problem comes in nowadays with the no skill factor to window cleaning now ,15- 20 years ago you learned to use a squeegee and your scrims ( no microfiber ****** back then ) so many redundant folk buy a van and start shaking a brush at a window because there isn't any skill involved, these guys havnt had a aching arm from holding a big thick shamy leather so they have no respect for traditional cleaning , trad is the skilled window cleaner wfp (sorry but I wfp now myself) isn't skillfull our windows may be cleaner longer or not who cared but trad proper trad gets my respect everytime

Abs I am one of those "redundant folk" you talk about .

I got laid of from the building trade a decided that WFP cleaning was the way to go , mainly because I could learn the technique easier than trad method.

I have the upmost respect for you guys that trad as it Defo is a skill ,which I would also like to learn !

But I will continue mainly to shake my brush at the windows and gladly take the custys money ( now got in the region of 350 clients ) so won't be going anywhere soon
