Bumped into a guy i used to work with yesterday

Said could i quote his mum

87 year old 2 roads away from me

Has a conny and a few windows (only 2 bed)

Just been round there and should have said about 14 quid but liked the old dear and she is old and on her own so said 8

davey there is going to be hard frost the night fingers crossed ...bless her

I had a moment of weakness today but the chap said no I will give you £25

Darn now I have to bloody do it every month

It's karma

Went to do a custy who had been on holiday so i said I would do it today

I drive 3 miles there and as i knock the door 2 other people turn up to view the house (i already am her windie for the new place when she moves and is a lot bigger so more dosh)

She says oh not this time please so i drive off with the hump

2 miles i drove and then she phones me really apologetic saying she was really embarrassed as she had no cash on her and panicked with the people there could i come back and she would go to cash machine (make it worth your while)

£15 job done £25 in my hand

Lucky i never got home or she was binned lol

And 3 quotes done today and cleaned them at the same time so i reckon a moment of weakness is deserved to keep the balance

Got 2 good 5* reviews on my facebook page today as well

Karma

Help an old dear out

Have a good day

And feel good about myself

The money is irrelevant for the old dear as doing my bit for the older generation

Smurf should understand as he is 172

It used to annoy me how the kids treated the old folk when i was young

Standing at the cenotaph on remembrance day in my army uniform side by side with people who saw and experienced horrific things to ensure the safety of our country and young lads walking past taking the ****

We should all take more care of the older generation as we would expect it when we get to that stage of our lives

If that means losing a couple of quid so be it

Some old folk I come accross are loaded and just try to take advantage too.

I think being older helps to know which ones are taking the mickey:D

Done the old dears windows today

Took 30 minutes including wiping all the green **** off the sills

She gave me 20 quid

I said no it's 8 she said the last guys charged 20 because of their "special water) and you did a good job

So i asked did they not do the sills and she said they never did and the frames were shocking

5 minutes with 2 of them and done

These cowboys are why there are so many wfp bashers about

See not all old folk are tight arses when they see you do a good job /emoticons/biggrin.png

I would usually but it is the mum of a guy i worked with for 7 years and has also helped me out in times of need

He lost his job 2 weeks ago and his mum isn't well off

I don't do that for anyone else but thought i would return a favour

Sucker... but she can afford to give you £20 so can't be that hard up as you think surely /emoticons/biggrin.png

After saying that I like to help out where I can too./emoticons/wink.png
