ya bu gger neil I dont want to spend any more money....but if its good enough for you...so I got four...so so easy on amazon...seconds and its bought..

I use two on my ladders and I did notice how threadbare they were on friday....must be time to tie another knot in them..../emoticons/biggrin.png

I like to move my stuff about in the van but still is a good idea though if you want it to have a particular place to store it. Best also to strap it down too so doesn't fall over when driving about or hit you in the back of the head when doing an emergency stop /emoticons/biggrin.png

Screw wooden battens to the floor around where the wheels will sit.

Thanks for the tips guys as always :). But reluctant to fix battens down at the moment, probs be too much work for now with all the other stuff to do, but will measure up when I get it and see

Think the vac is over 25kg and could be top heavy, don't actually know yet, but given its worth and vital function, I will prob use the octopus and another four bungees and err on the side of caution, maybe even build the batten idea, It's worth checking the local wilko though ta

Bought some of the Neil and cnc ones for now, will wait n c how much the vac moves when I get it

I dont know why but I got a two pound voucher off amazon for that order...so not so bad...I am not sure but I think I have to use my mobile to spend it but I dont seem to have a problem spending money.../emoticons/biggrin.png

I'm just hundred poorer as I bought a wifi cam too :-(. Money is draining from me, even the spiders have moved out of my wallet

Use a couple wrapping them round the vac and on to the anchor points in the van and it will never move [emoji106]

Thanks Neil. Is there anything else you use your vac for? I assume it's no good for carpets, too awkward, heavy and diirty, but was thinking maybe de-mossing roofs but it would prob just dislodge tiles.
