Big drive init /emoticons/biggrin.png

Not what I would call a compact road as would take extra time to setup/pack away and to get to the next house. If you can do 15 of those in a day far play to you as you must work bloody long hours.

Not being funny but I get £20 for smallish semi's and don't have to drive what would seem half a mile down each drive to get to the next door either:whistle:
You must be vat registered to those prices then Smurfy? /emoticons/smile.png

£20 for a typical semi type house is crazy.

I have days that I do 30 semis easily. If I was charging your prices I'd be making about £100,000 per year without breaking a sweat.

I need to move to your area. Lol

You only have to ask...It's not difficult you know as the worst thing they can say is **** off /emoticons/biggrin.png

Not everyone has the balls to charge like you do smurfI do charge on the higher end of the scale for what i consider a quality job but each to their own i think 250 notes is a fair days pay for a fair days work..a lot better than most of the guys stuck in the rat race of employment

It's about 25 windows, easily done in 30 minutes including pack up time.

I do work hard, but not like a mad man. /emoticons/smile.png

It all depends on experience also smurf

When i was subbing i used to do some roads where i could do 5 or more houses without moving the motor

Sometimes done up to 27 houses a day easy

Ones where i had to drive between each i still did 20 a day (normal 3 beds)

Average back then was 7.50-8.00 per house and was doing minimum 20 quid per hour to get paid 10 an hour when employed and the same to get 16 an hour subbing

Now i get minimum 25 an hour (bare minimum) and all in my pocket

No need to be greedy

Sounds like hard work to me now also and I'm half your age (39)

That's why most of my jobs are bigger houses nowadays

No wonder you want to go stick waggling as your body must be fooked like mine already.

I feel old and slow now.I need to speed up.I do not know how you can do over 20 houses a day.

It's not a race so I don't worrry to much about speed myself as I focus on doing the best job I can however long it takes me.

I totally agree where smurf is coming from. I had £30 in my mind for this before coming here to see what you guys thought. I think the average was 35 on here. I also asked some local people and they said 35-40 on average. The customer said to me that tey had window cleaners before doing it for £25 and they would never turn up again....so seeking someone else again, i offered the price and they said we are happy to pay that and see how pure water works. I think as they are all leaded doing them trad would be a pain also.

Wow - doing that in 30 minutes no way possible for me, I am to fussy. It would be a 1st clean too as not done for a while. I would have to fly round that to do it in 30 mins. I just do it in my way, spend a bit of time and make sure the sills are all clean lowers wiped down etc and little marks not left on frames etc... I could not do 20 houses a day WFP - I just could nto work quick enough and feel I have given it care, probably my mind set but we all work different, I feel my prices as a whole are middle row and prob alot people might say put a few quid on it, but even i feel £35 for that full frames and sill and glass is fair enough. people charge 10-12 for a 3 bed house so thats deffo 3x size of them. I think to secure them I may go 30-35 for the regular clean, just to secure it fully. If i done that for £20 I would feel cheated as money for pure, petrol and time and its out in the country.

I hope I can get my round up to 12 a day I will be happy, also happy I have given each house full care too. I think thats a good pace, unless i have 10 houses in a row then your talking lol.

scots lad - thats awsome, I hope to god I can get that or 60% would be good. Mine will be spread out as I am just starting out and going to do them, so i hope they build up all closer to each other.
