Hi all

Can somebody please point me in the right direction to a post that was on a while ago asking the question " what's the lowest TDS reading you would work with?"

Cheers Greener

I like to stick to 000ppm then I know I can rule out the water I'm using if I encounter any spotting issues.

Smart **** /emoticons/biggrin.png

My reply was tongue in cheek. @Greener wanted to know what is the lowest you would work with. The answer would be nothing else than 000. If he meant the highest TDS I would go as high as 007.

I was on 007 last week, Just filled up and now Its on 025

I'm new to this so I don't know what to do about reading being so high.

I will try to help you in your other post /emoticons/wink.png

Anything under 10 I don't worry at all - over 10 under 15 I rinse more and make sure I tell the customers to let me know if there's anything at all they're not happy with. So far I havent had any spotting when I've gone back the next time, and never been called back.

Would I like 000 all the time? Absolutely. But with the water where I live, that's just unrealistic.

Any way of making some pure tonight? If you could make pure tonight I'd get rid of your 025 personally, but I have heard on another forum that a bloke uses 028 tap water on all his jobs. It's your call dude.

Fresh di resin will bring 25 ppm down to oooppm no problem. Assuming the water is in your van tank and you have a di tank in your van fitted to the outlet of your water tank to the wfp pump, Same goes if you have a holding tank with it in just put a di tank inline on the transfer hose to fill the van.

I stay in single figures. But hey, you can clean a window with 000 and still leave it spotty.
