This is the only one I've had boar, but when it breaks I'll be buying another one straight away; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unger-The-Belt-/301219856901?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item46221a4205

Its very strong, and the 2 loops on it are really useful. I put my boab through the small one to stop it sliding about, and use the big one for holding my scrim. Its a very stiff belt which makes things easy to carry and taking it on an off is probably easier then a floppy belt. You can probably get it cheaper then the price shown.

I use that same unger belt @TolishAPurd and find the loops annoying as are fixed on the belt so can't be moved around which limits how you can set the belt up

I use the cheap unger belt

It always goes out of shape and not flat anymore but it does it's job of holding all my stuff so don't need anything else

Was gonna look round for a better one though for a change

There is that I suppose, but everything is always where I want it. I guess since its the only one I've had from the start I have worked my way around it.

I always just leave a loop out from my trousers then put my pouch on my regular trouser belt

I need a work belt as don't have a belt on my tracky bottoms

Also i have too much to fit on a normal belt

Not really Smurffy .......

If you want the loops on your opposite side, put the belt-on upside-down /emoticons/wink.png......

If you want the loops anywhere else, just put the belt-on and just slide the belt around your waist until the loops are where you want them.......simples /emoticons/tongue.png/emoticons/biggrin.png.

ps

I also use the Unger Belt with the 2 loops......good strong belt and keeps it's shape :thumbsup:.

went into the windowcleancentre.co.uk to peruse the belt selection. dunno if any of you lads n lasses have been in there ?

lets just say its an experience .

theyv got a big selection of sh/tty belts , many suitable for "dress use only" . if you were a novice in there for your first time youd end up buying summat more suitable for a night at the opera

in the end i found what i was lookin for, the right honourable Pulex belt. this uses the same belt clip as whats fitted on the pulex boab. the belt material is tough n ornery exact same as strap on the boab so itll last the course

so i know itll last as ive been using these pulex boabs years

Just got me and the wife yesterday- ungers The Belt, thousand times better than the annoying fall down your side cheapy belt, did not have to sort out the belt once today, solid. Used the small loop to put the BOAB strap through, but how Ive put it, is too high, elbow hitting it, so some modifying to do, the big loop is under the sleeve of one of my pouches, so its no use at the moment. did think of using belt upside down, as i have my 7" squeegee on left hand side in ettore holder and thought I could use the small loop instead, but didnt.

Just out of curiosity what do you all look for in a belt? Presumably comfort, longevity are primary conditions. The reason I ask is I've been making 50mm/2" leather belts for years, I also make loops that you can move around the belt and loop your cloths thru. If anyone is keen to know any more Pm me. The belts are £25, full grain black or brown leather. Any size, loops £5 pair, secured with copper rivet or brass Sam Browne stud, cheers, Neil

Try army surplus store ask for a webbing belt good quality and we'll stitched I got 2 for £10 bargain

I have my old webbing but hadn't thought of that

Not sure i could wedge my pouches on it
