Ouch

I had that happen to me dropped about three meters cracked my ladders because my ankle fell through the rung and all my weight landed on top of it, broken ankle and six weeks of work those where the days, luckily the insurance paid up.

 
Definitely ouch

I came off once

leant ladders against a canopy above a front door to pole window above and it gave way

Landed on my back and fractured can't spell it right cocyx

 
hmmm yep me had to go roof walking yesterday with my size 12 boots on thought I was alright til I bent down to clean the window...the roof was all frosted..so it was one hand on the facia one hand to clean..the velux I normally walk down to ...got left../emoticons/biggrin.png

dont think the ladder slip thing has happened to me but I do remember the little slip a few times...and when you get the little slip it kinda frightens you...:turd:

 
My mum was in the fire service full time and my uncle retained in Fakenham

 
Gotta do something in the evening. I get bored. Mind you, only one call out a week. Super rural.

yep one of my daughters can outrun and is as strong as me as she was anorexic and even in that state I struggled with her..shes okay now thankfully

it took six nurses...and some were quite big to force feed her...

mind you the wife nearly had me by the ....when I wound her up about a text off a female custy....there is a lot of strength in a raging woman:D

 
Mine is half italian. .don't give her the hump or the italian temper comes out

 
hmmm...lets all stand around then shall we as watch the inevitable as that fall could have been so easly avoided. Plonkers the bunch of them springs to mind :rolleyes:

You would think they would have had some basic ladder training
My boys are both in the ambulance service and call them "water fairies"
