I've got a bad habit of doing a 4 day week especially if it's been a good or hard week.how many of you religiously do a 5 day weather permitting?Think I need a kick up the ****!

I prefer to work approx 2-3 days a week now in my twilight years,

You can't take too much work on either as what with the weather being so unprdictable you soon will get stressed out and have to work in all weathers.... Don't you @boarcity?

I work anywhere between 4 to 6 days a week depending on how I'm feeling and the jobs in question, but most weeks its 5 days.

my stress levels have gone down a lot recently , due mostly to having a crew who are pulling together . i look for work all the time , in february some customers cancel ,its the time of year when moneys tight and oldies leave to go into care homes -so i must rake in fresh from somewhere

i also got hooked in by a catfish last year [google it,its a tv show] and have jus got over that , this sapped me mentally ,a lot

no weekends for me. well almost...cept the two weekly magazine thing but thats so I can get my cards out....

okay I ER....well its five days but friday is friday and er....it may merge into the weekend..

now normally traditionally I have kids holidays off but ...my kids all grown up ...and people keep chasing me....

just finished that one gutter facia soffit and straight into another....

and as for the money hmmmmm it dont last long with my wife...a ton for a passport for the daughters nineteenth which was in november....fifty for an indian and a few pints tonight and 45 for the daughter cause I always paid the train fare for the other daughter when she came back to see us..

well you cant take it with you.....

I Plan on building my round based around a 4. This gives room for weather and holidays. The 5th day will be add on jobs pressure washing, carpets etc. Saturdays I have my kids and sundays I go fishing or biking. No weekends for me unless it was just the odd one too good to turn down.

Try to do 4 busy days a week and save fridays for any add on jobs, or have an extra day off if there is nothing booked in!/emoticons/smile.png

Me and my wife are very lucky to both be on very good money so we both only work 3 days a week , gives us 4 off a week to enjoy ourselves

Mon-fri and I work in all weathers. (Unless it's gale force and torrential rain at the same time)

I also do an early shift on Saturday mornings, about 5:30 till 8:00 which is awkward access jobs and commercials that are easier on a Saturday.

It keeps the wolves away from the door. /emoticons/smile.png

I work 7 days - not by choice though. Mostly commercial work that has to be done before shops/offices open and petrol stations that need doing when it's quieter - usually in the evenings. Effectively an early start and late finish but have afternoons off. Would like to compact the work somehow.
