Hi everyone. Sorry I've gone quiet on this one. Lots in my personal life going on. Ok, here we go. There is a risk. Smurf is 100% correct. The risk will increase as modules age and fail. I wrote an article for the FWC after being approached by them - "The Shocking Truth About Solar Panel Cleaning." They asked me because they recognise I am an authority on H&S regarding solar cleaning. That's not me boasting, it's just the way it is.

How did I find out what I know and build it into the UK's leading solar cleaning company? Years of research. It was not a simple phone call to an electrician and anyone who thinks they will get a definitive answer that way is mistaken.

Voltage from an array will potentially burn straight through your marigolds. All the best with that. Any pole you use, you can still potentially get a shock too.

At the end of the day, I am adamant that window cleaners should not just rock up to clean panels without some sort of knowledge.

Anyone wanting to know about the training course will have contact me privately.

Finally, if anyone thinks I'm blowing my own trumpet, feel free to view this: https://www.signup4.net/Upload/MCCU10A/ENER135E/Energy Now Expo Conference Programme Thursday 12th Feb.pdf

It is the seminar list for the show we exhibited at last week. In the solar seminar box, you will see the speakers. Google their companies and you will see they are well respected companies within the industry. I had a half hour speaking slot and you can view it here: http://www.solar-panel-cleaners.com/solar-panel-cleaning-explained-at-energy-now-expo-2015

Feedback welcome as always.
