Official reviewer for the new moerman squeegee

When released I will be buying a couple with handles and extra channels so will certainly experiment with the Wagtail disc and handle. There will be no botching together. Using a heat gun on the Wag disc I am able to get any lightweight channel working perfectly fine and looking like that was the way it came from the manufacturer. You just never know Moerman may in the future challenge the whole 'swivel patent' BS that keeps getting thrown in people's faces....

The amount of hype they are getting there will be a 6 month waiting list. must order mine as soon as i can. mostly water fed but what i do do trad might as well make it as easy as i can for my self

I'm sure with the size of the company that will be making then they will have no problem keeping up with the demand. If any delays are incountered once in full production will be more like a distribution problem to suppliers than anything else.... Slow boat from china and all that /emoticons/biggrin.png

I wish they would just get there finger out and get to market so we can all compare our cleans and new techs for using it .

I have tried a few times on old channels but can't seem to get it right so I am waiting for all this to be factory released .

The excitement wait is killing me

Trust me james they are good as i have used them albeit prototypes

When they are ready i will be the first to tell you guys and let you know how well they work

It just takes time ironing out kinks and little adjustments to get them to work as efficiently as possible

No no no no no, this tool is not being sold as a pole tool to be dismantled and botched together with a wagtail for upstairs windows, besides the problem with high windows using any dogeared squeegee is the top edge and not being able to fan at height, the edges may be perfect but the top wont and there will be lines coming down inevitably, this tool is designed to be used un your hand, you know, the thing u wa&k with james?
Now, I'm not an expert at pole work, although consider myself good at normal squeegeeing, both standard and Wagtail, but I have one shop that has recently put up a window blind outside, which means I cannot reach with a ladder (as I did before). so I now do the top openers with a pole. It took me a few goes to get the hang of it, but now I can squeegee off using a well modified Wagtail, dog-eared - angle cut, and I can do all the edges including the top, without having to detail.

Polzn bladz who has designed the new squeegee uses a modded wag on a pole for those sort of jobs and it is very effective

Just not really a hand tool when you can use decent normal squeegees
