Cheapncheerful ladder stop....

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Also, them ladders look well extended....how bloody high do you go!

well spotted I dont go to two rungs like that normally daddy told me always leave three...

but needs must ..occasionally...I have left the top bit of guttering for ages on the side and it was chocca I do have bigger ladders but they are only a few rungs bigger...and it wasnt so windy..but...

I emptied it okay with my special gutter tool its actually an old brabantia mop but works great...but the gutter was leaning backwards so I had to try and wack it back and...as usual..

the end cap fell off and it came away from its bracket...

so eventually wishing I had never bothered....I had to mend it from the other side and later I noticed it was still pointing backwards....so again..I wacked away and I hope its all right...i wont be going up there for a long time.../emoticons/biggrin.png

Council roofers were fixing a tile on my roof today, saw them using my kids plastic skateboard ramp to get their ladder level, cheeky!!! Coulnt believe they would do that, super slippy.

I take a cinder block on one of my jobs. Its 2 floors but is the height of most 3 floor houses and the angle is less then optimal. Its just about safe without it, but the 36kg of concrete on the bottom makes things feel a lot safer. I've also used a 20kg weight plate on a painting job before which worked really well as the rim of the weight plate gripped into the grass.

Maybe you could start a new franchise called Frank's Property Repair Service...

Slogan could be something like "We repair cockups faster than frank can break stuff"

it was from a few years back and the wife threw it out and I dont believe in throwing out...

two of my scrims started rotting on me dont know why I just ended up covered in bits..and you could rip em to bits easy..so...they went in the green house and today they are at the bottom of my plant pots to stop the compost going through the drain holes...

no waste around here..../emoticons/biggrin.png

you can see it extended up against the wall in the first picture its head is white...and in the second pic its head down behind the ladder...

There is nothing like using the right tools for the job is there Frank.

Just have to get my worker frank a roller & a mop now and he will be sorted too /emoticons/biggrin.png

brabantia looks to be useful and a cool name.
