I have recently read that a TDS of anything less than 10 is fine for Windows, however we have always stuck to zero, what do you members clean on (TDS Reading)

well....until recently me was very happy that i got ooo but....now I realise I should have bought some resin ready as now its running up 004 ish and I am panicking.

..I may have to learn to trad again:whistle:

Thanks for your replies, I suppose the answer seems to point to staying at 0ppm but it wouldn't kill anyone if it was slightly higher!

I'm confident up to 20ppm. I have worked with 76ppm by accident & although I could see some marks under the inspection of a trained eye the results were still acceptable believe it or not!! I do not recommend this though:D. I've worked with 36 & achieved spotless results.

I normally work with anything up to 10 but wouldn't bat an eye up to 20.

What's on channel 4 cheapie , wifie watching bloody Emma on bbc 4
soz missed you last night...it was live cannabis smoking to see the effects on different people.I am sure some of the smoke leaked out of my tv...

Wow Winproclean, that seems high! Whatever works I suppose.

I personally change my resin when it hits 4ppm. Most of the time the water I take out is 0. I would have thought consistantly using High tds water would leave mineral marks on the windows? One of my customers has these from years of rain water dripping from the walls as the windows arent set back, theyre kind of level with the wall.

Ive experimented on my windows and used 5ppm and it was spotless.

A bit off topic but Ive also experimented with using wfp after having tradded the previous clean and results are just as good. Always been led to believe you shouldnt do this as youre constantly rinsing suds from the frames.

NO WAY. I could use my tap water (60) if that was ok
