Rotary surface cleaner.

Sorry I thought it was a tiled floor inside the main building not cobble stones enclosed in a walkway outside of the main building.

Then how about using hypo instead as you say it's on quite a slope so could be hosed down easily afterwards instead of trying to use a washer in a confined space?

No, its like a corridor that I assume would of originally been outside that connects the two bars on the side of the building, its now covered but the floor is definitely an outdoor style floor, no nice tiles or anything.

Never used hypo before, how's the best way to use it? does it give off fumes at all?

Yes it gives off fumes as is very strong liquid chlorine bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite) they use to dose swimming pools. I get 14-15% strength from my local swimming pool supplier and dilute it for cleaning concrete pavers etc 1 part water to 1 part hypo mixed in a bucket and just brush it on using a cheapo car/truck brush screwed on the end of a harris pole. Let it dwell for about 20 mins then rinse the surface down. After saying that if that corridor is not open at the end leading outside (has a door) then you will not be able to hose it down at all nor use a washer as the water will have nowhere to go.

Its about 10 maybe 12 foot long, 3 to 4 foot wide steep angled straight onto the path outside through a door, the place is more of a restaurant than pub now, not sure they will want the stink lol, got to do it before they open.

I would use mop to wet that floor with strong flash/water solution or other degreaser than brush with stiff brush and then use your wet and dry vacuum (gutter vacuum) to suck all the water and dirt up

Like I mentioned if it has a door frame at the bottom of the doors there is no way you could hose it down afterwards

No frame, it flows straight into the street.

Don't think flash will do much, it would be like mopping your driveway.

how do you match the jets smurf?

There are different size jets you can get for them depending on what type of washer you use.

Any good company that sells rotary flat surface cleaners and knows their onions so to speak should ask what psi and flow rate you have so they can put the correct size jets in. Same goes when ordering a turbo nozzle too.

im looking start getting into pressure washing... any recommendations for low budget ways of getting started..ideally washer and rotary cleaner

From experience it's best to buy once the best spec pressure washer kit that will tackle any job and do it quickly. That means even if you have to save hard to buy good kit. Budget washers tend to be very slow and not built to be used frequently and/or for long periods of time.

For residential use engines wise if petrol is what you’re after a Honda gx390 is probably the best size as can run a decent 15 or 21 interpump no problem and needless to say the 21 lpm is better. You can get larger pumps but really needs a larger motor to drive one. A reduction gearbox from the engine to the pump is also a good idea. To stop the pump over heating when running and not in use and damaging the pump most good washers are fitted with return to tank valve than the standard one.

Best shop around for a decent spec washer or keep an eye out for a good used one on gumtree or fleebay as bargains can be had.
