Done my first house

WCF

Help Support WCF:

It would do for most normal houses bit o do townhouse gutters and velux windows etc so too small for me2 section lytes are not as heavy for the same size but go for what you want
2 section extends to 3.82 m and 3 section extends to 5.3 m I think

when i wrapped bike inner tube rubber on the top 18 inches of each stile i wrapped it leaving gaps . this gap left a small step ,like teeth, this too helped stop side slip

That works out to 17.5 feet so isn't a bad size

Mine are 28 feet and reach velux above the roofline on 3 story townhouses

I personally wouldn't use anything other than an apex ladder when using the squeegee method , in my opinion it's the safest ladder to use, especially on bay windows.

Lucky for me though I don't have to now as I'm now a stick waggler /emoticons/tongue.png

I would've recommended the A-frame ladders, started out with a regular one but when I switched to A-frame work got so much quicker and safer, could reach alot more windows with it, I still use mitts but on the bottom now, feel it gives a better base and also helps with levelling it out /emoticons/smile.png

If you got the triple Jack my advice is take off the first section and keep it separate on your roof rack, makes ladder a touch lighter, will cover 99% of your work and then you got the extra length on standby for as and when needed

This^.

They really are a lot safer and quicker to use then conventional styles. I'll never go back.
