Roof panels I'm talking about....
They weren't glass mate, they were polycarbonate plastic panels,

If they were glass, then I'd have rinsed down with pure.

I've found the quickest way is not necessarily the best way as how on earth could I charge so much /emoticons/biggrin.png

Algon? Never heard of that before is it safe to use on conservatories especially if it gets on glass don't it stain if left to dry out? What about self cleaning glass?

Suppose so but I wouldn't risk it!if the seals damage or the panels move just a couple mil then it will leak wouldn't won't the come backBet I've done 200 conny roofs over the years all I do is week before the job spray the entire roof with a pressure sprayer with Algon then when I go back the stuff just glides off simple

Done a few conservatoryv roof cleans with pressure washer.I Just establish with client who installed it and that it will only be 90% clean cos don't want to break any seals. From inside noone can see 1/2 inch near seals-which I tell them.Having said that only charged £40 -£50 for job- good for an hours work.I have got a brouchure from some co.that used to be top of google and they did it all by hand-did look very good but was about a grand.Friend of Smurf?lol .I always like mentioning my special attention to the finials, which are obviously delicate and cannot be guarranteed to be as good as the rest.Still don't know what finials are, but it sounds good and I just point to the top;-).

Sorry but how can you leave a conservatory roof not finished off properly?

That's like saying I've washed your car but left an inch of dirt all around the panels as dont want water getting in the car. /emoticons/biggrin.png

Saw Algon(organic) in Dobbies garden centre was only £7.99 5l and can be used on just about all surfaces, decking, upvc , sounds like a good idea prespraying a week before, as it seeminglys gets to work, then the rain washes it off or cleaned of by how we do it with wfp, think it said it may stain lead? Also safe around pets, just to watch out for staining/burning? flowers/grass I think and watch out for pond life?
