Then what happens @boarcity if the numpty at the top of the ladder overeaches and the ladder slips sideway at the top or twists. The guy at the bottom of the ladder is not going to be able to stop that surely?

overreaching is something all novices do. its a real risk. from my experience anyone who goes full time on ladders ie up and down at least 100 times each day -stops over-reaching about month 3 . why that is i really dont know .
