Microwipes Have Made My Squeegie And Applicator Redundant

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I've been using them for years, they are superb, but I wouldn't use them to do a whole window! I use them to detail and also on leaded windows with some soapy water sprayed on the glass, they come up well, but not sure why you'd choose this method over the squeegee?
Because I know what I'm doing, if I clean a window with one of these and someone cleaned the same window with soap and a squeegee you'd struggle to say my method wasn't just as good or better (no smears), as for soapy water that's a no no! The microfibers pull the dirt out not spread it, I too have been using them for 10 years but some on here said they'd never heard of them.

Microfibres er very good at this method on smaller Windows and door. I Use the same method as Poles Apart , an works just fine also with soapy tap Water no marks or Smears.

Edit: i ofcourse wipe window afterwards with a clean dry microfibre

No way are they as efficient as a squeegee mate, sorry but that's just a fact! I mean, take a patio door, it'd take ages to use a microfibre! Squeegee is miles faster,

And yes many a time in the winter did I use just a microfibre with some water, (when it's was so cold the water would freeze for the usual method) but it still takes longer!

Your perhaps a bit slow using the squeegee?

Also they get dirty do fast, so you'd go through loads and loads in a day, which means buying more, and also washing more!

Whereas a squeegee is simple and lasts weeks, even then, you've only gotta change the rubber for a couple of quid!

Once you have clicked on any of those icons you can't remove it.
You can Spruce. You select 'undo rating' I can't understand how someone would click 'bad spoellling' by mistake. It's the far right icon on my device.

Yeah it's easy

I demand an appollogee

They have too big a weave on them

They need to be dense enough that you can't see spots of light if you hold em up to the sun

Did it by accident /emoticons/biggrin.png

Thanks @Tuffers. I didn't see the undo rating on the right hand side of the box until you pointed it out.

Think there just microfibre cloths - been using em ten years !!!

What was spelt bad anyway? Em? I thought it was widely acceptable .. probably not what professor of English language at Cambridge would tell you but who cares /emoticons/smile.png
People tend to point this out a lot - there, their, they're. Honestly: This is a forum for window cleaners, we don't come here to learn how to spell words.

That needs a button for wrong use of a word then

It was written perfectly just in the wrong context

My grammar is perfect but who cares and what difference does it make to the rest of us
