Help Support WCF:

Ive just employed a bloke to help me once a week joe. Keep falling behind otherwise. I'll ask about for you. Ive not used a 0° squeegee Daveyboy. Is it a specialised squeegee or can I just change the angle of my one somehow ?

Unger 0° swiveloc is the best as you can fan with it on a pole also

The moerman swivel handle switches between 40 and 0° but doesn't swivel smoothly

Even straight pulls it allows you to stand to the side rather than in one spot

It is my favourite squeegee i own

Looks like a great bit of kit. Where can i buy one from please and how much roughly ? Can they be used on a standard Harris pole with a tapered end ?

What about the 'Vikan Easy Shine Kit' from Gardiners. Anyone got one ? Are they good for large glass conservatory panels ?

Postage free with wintecs if you don't mind waiting 3 days for delivery

I stuck one of these on my harris pole as it is designed to fit the unger tools

Also all other tools fit well

Also wagtail is a better fit than on the wagtail adaptor

You will need a tiny piece of smaller diameter metal tube or a small piece of upvc plumbing pipe as the optiloc cone hole is exactly the same size as the harris pole end once the rivets are drilled out to take the harris end piece off

Thanks for the link Daveyboy :)

Do I need to purchase an unger pole too or will this fit on any extension pole ?

I have it fitted to an adjustable crank like this but using a bit of old pole rather than plastic

The unger cone would fit over the plastic pipe rather than inside like the adjustable crank but the pipe takes up the space

The adjustable crank imo is a vital attachment

It allows you to get at windows at funny angles if you don't use a wag like this

It is very useful with a wag too

Excuse the ropey vid it i just made it to demonstrate the swiveloc and adjustable end

So you want to be just a trad glass cleaner too then @daveyboy1 to save using ladders and **** the frames and sills /emoticons/biggrin.png

I've ordered a Vikan Easy Shine Kit and an adapter from Gardiners so I can connect it to my SLX for higher level inside glass and conservatory roofs. I hope its decent for the £80 it's cost me ... i do love a new toy !

I am juat expanding my skills smurf lol

Done 2 today with my pole and you won't find dirty frames anywhere or sills

I will just pop over and take a look then...Oh bugger it's just starting to rain /emoticons/biggrin.png

Seriously though trad pole work can save a lot of hassle with glass out of reach from the ground . Any reduction in working at height I think is a good thing instead of trying to use ladders etc all the time. /emoticons/wink.png
