Hi guys, i would just like to have abit of an open discussion where people can share their ideas of prices that they charge for their services.

it would be useful for me to see what sort of price roughly everyone would charge.

share your price list on a average? average being a 3 bed house for example..

WINDOWS

GUTTERING CLEAN,CLEAR OUT, FASCIA

CONNY ( roof and sides separately then all together)

and any other service you may offer ..Look forward to your response

lol If im honest i havent been doing it long enough to have a average really? i just try and guesstimate when i see the job .. so im doing this so i can be more consistent and accurate with quotes /emoticons/smile.png

standard 3 bed

windows 10

gutters depends on how many ins and outs there is if its 2 staright runs 40

upvc depends on how dirty but price start at around 50-60

conservatory once first clean is done is 10 top and bottom

one off full conservatory clean is 75 +

EVERY HOUSE IS DIFFERENT AND CANT BE JUDGED ON OTHERS PRICES ALSO DEPENDS ON AREA AS IF IN A WELL OF AREA CHARGE MORE IF U R IN A AREA WHERE MONEY IS TIGHT NOT GET AS MUCH

I don't work on these size properties. sorry @SHAQ TULLOCH

But I am very expensive. I have a minimum charge. I am very busy and I don't take new clients. I like to do the least amount of properties for as much money as possible. On average I do just four properties a day.

thank you for sharing that peter i appreciate that /emoticons/smile.png sp cleaning thats good to hear id like to work to get to that stage /emoticons/smile.png

I go by time not how many windows and aim for £20-30 an hour ish if that helps. Gutter wise same as Peter

thats the thing becuase im new to it i wont know how long its going to take me and due to inexperience i would probably take longer then most so my prices would be higher then most ? but thank you for you anyway /emoticons/smile.png

Well I think the very rough price people use is

£1.25 for up stairs

£1 for lower

£2 for bay window

£2 for double patio doors

£1 for a front door

And a £1 or £2 rounding up or down depending on job as in if total comes to £9 round up. If total comes to £11 as is very easy work call it £10. That's roughly how I do it.

Pricing is down to the individual and is a tricky one as is easy to sell on price alone or **** up by under charging as jobs can take alot longer than you think. Therefore I would say best to just get stuck in and learn from experience as you go along what sort of money you will be wanting for each job in future to make it worth your while.

Customers are tricky beasts to second guess. You cant tell how they think.

I priced a clubhouse for a local Sports club. I priced it in my normal fashion.

£20 before I leave my house. It has risen to £30 whilst I was driving. Pull up and glance at it. Yep got to be £40. Walk around and have a proper look. I want £50.

I knew I was quoting against two other local guys but thats fine. Get home send a quote via email. Two days later. "Yes please, can you do it every month."

Yesterday one of the two others who quoted gave me a ring about something and he asked if I had quoted for the clubhouse. I said I had and I got the job.

He quoted £35. He went on to say that he knew the other chap quoted £25.

The Sports club decided to pay my price. What was their reasoning? Does it matter?

Charge your price and take your chance.
