when out working i got to thinking,as you do, i see certain public benches that never get used . its a strange phenomenon, whats so wrong that no-one ever View attachment 4521 wants to sit on you. heres one such in Wadgate Road,Felixstowe

i put it to my missus, the unwanted bench phenomenon, her reply-

" shut up you daft t/t "

but now im analysing why this all came to me, the deep trawl of the mind ,WHY WHY WHY ....then it came to me/

what it is- is its about me, US , THE WINDIE in general.

Why are we chosen?[or not chosen !] to clean somebodys windows

We all have the fear of failure, the lonesome bench , especially in the early days of our businesses . i can remember my own family telling me "you wont last " , a damning condemnation .Thankfully i did last .

Anyhow now im at peace with my bench analogy theory.

The line of street furniture with the bench facing the wrong way isn't inviting. Feels boxed in and backward

Nice bench-life metaphor

This example I pass most days and I never saw anyone on it. After boars post I went to check it out. There appears No good reason its ignored. ate lunch on it, no graffiti, chewing gum, it faces the A456 west of Birmingham and a view including trees. Although its at the top of a hill, I think it's too far away from shops to be useful for the tired of leg in the commercial age

I do squander time, but in this instance 'twas indulging my bodily need for lunch and uploading of useless information :)

Nope. Not even a whiff. Just spent out of a water tank though as even the minimal filling of 20l cans I've done has done my head in. Back to the canvass circus this week, been side tracked by doin up my house /garden

You'll be fine bud

Just have to knock as many doors as you can in a week and see how much work rolls in

You need to hammer it non stop

Demoralising i know but less demoralising than not working

You will have work coming out your ears
