How to set up van waterfed pole system to get pure water on site

It's so if your resin goes above zero u can still use it ( to get water down near zero - then second resin totally pure ) I have used water of a pretty high reading when I could not be arsed changing it and windows seemed fine -bit risky tho !
Right i get you

Do you find you get more work done than doing it trad? Not to mention it must be a lot easier
I enjoy being on the WFP poles mate and there is quite a bit of work that are good earners that I wouldn't be able to do trad mainly because of height.

But today I did almost everything trad as Monday's is my commercial day which i personally prefer to do trad.

Without wishing to start a war on the forum i will just diplomatically say that WFP just adds another option to your weaponry........its a lot of fun dangling a massive pole around hoping that you clean the odd window in the process /emoticons/wink.png

You need to measure your tap water before deciding what to do ...
Yeah i will mate but i just know it is a soft water area and a di set up will do. You have probably heard of daqua i will probably go to them as it isn't far from here

Yeah that's what i want to get it for just out of reach work if i am out on my own and got no one to foot the ladder and plus it will open up other work options

Although I've got the system in the van I've also recently been using the Gardiners backpack (long story) and must say it's an impressive bit of kit. That may be an option for you to have a peep at mate.

I had originally thought about that but i didn't fancy having to fill barrels and all that carry on

Although i do know it's still handy to have it but i'd prefer to do most work from the van if i could. The di system in the van and just filling up when i need to seems better for my situation. I live in a flat so want to make things easy as possible

I would always recommend backpack - had shurflo for years it's essential

You could get away with a 350l tank @kev askng as your not carrying loads of stuff, and run low fuel like me /emoticons/wink.png

Pop x2 11 Litre DI Vessels in and I'll find a thread which talks about best ways of doing this. I've just converted over and it is AMAZING!
Are you not disgusted with yourself @Alien Human , keeping those poor DI vessels in such small cages :rofl::rofl:/emoticons/tongue.png

Btw can you let us know roughly how much pure you get with that high tds before resin needs changing?

ps i prefer those brass connectors, they last years

Lol - they don't look very safe in the photos do they!

I only made the change over a couple of weeks ago mate so still working out how much resin I'm going through but will try to remember to let you know.

& brass connectors rock. Got that from a photo of another members van set up.

Have a good one /emoticons/smile.png
