yeh er...managed the bungalow and one house and gave up rain....
so went home and at last cut the jungle called a back garden...

every year I moan about how hard it is to cut but really...only took me couple of hours..

its just that cheap long reach petrol hedge cutter is effing heavy...

so best day of the week for weather tomorrow so get stuck in.../emoticons/biggrin.png
Thays if you don't knock off early due to... Some clouds and light wind.../emoticons/wink.png

On average how many customers do you guys do a day?
Everybodys round is different, depending on size and location etc whether the round is compact and next door to each other. The way we have always done it is try and do 50 houses a day between 2 men, that is considered a good days work. That's for most of my round but i have 60 houses i do monthly that is 3 to 4 days work. Can get it done in 3 good days, average £10 a house

well I would do more if people fecked off to work...

I passed one..car on drive...next one started out towards it no cars but he was sat doing work in the window so left that for another day and went to my first house and the kids in...not so bad but gets around the back to find dad eating toast in the conny...

does no one work anymore....?

I was on the edge of a valley and looking across all I could see was grey...yukk

and if you go home you have to work out if its worth going out again...

suppose a gardener would have charged me at least fifty squid to do the leylandii hedges etc I did in my own garden..balanced nicely on a ladder with a big pole hedge trimmer going like mad..

I had heard the good forecast for tomorrow and it always looks better to go in the sun so thought I would move it all til tomoz..

nice early 7am start yawn....oh feck...not a morning person cheapie.../emoticons/biggrin.png

any way congrats peter...its all worth it../emoticons/biggrin.png

Had to re-read a few posts to work out where the baby theme was coming from. Was wondering why the gutter vac was being used as a pram????

Anyway, that's great news Pete! How long left?......and is that a Ducati pram that your getting /emoticons/wink.png

We have gone for slings mate......mainly cause i literally couldn't work out how to fold those fuc*ing pram mother fuc*ers.........they got the better of me everytime man......so I 'showed them' and replaced em all with hippy slings.......of which I can only actually successfully use one out of the 5 we have /emoticons/smile.png

yeh cant operate a pushchair its the wifes department...

and as for getting a car chair attached safely using a seat belt....I hope they make it easier these days...

all our prams pushchairs ....the wheels fell off...cheap dont pay in the long run...wife was not amused..

aw porr cnc this is the 21st entury u dont use a seatbelt any more lol if u look down back of your seat there be 2 metal rings where they click in to

due in few weeks 22nd july to be extact
its a mimo brand pram its really good very light weight
To be fair mate it's prob quite similar to the way the poles work.

'You can have this one for 50 quid but you will start turning a bit green week 1 and be a full grown Hulk by end of week 2........or this super duper amazing lite one which will make your everyday life so much easier for errrrrrr several 50 quids'

Ohhhh matey.....don't open a can of worms about them feckin isofix things. Ours haven't been removed for several years because they are just so feckin difficult to get back in. It's a criminal offence punishable by death to unplug those things in our family. And we've got those anchor strapsas well mate - literally as difficult as trying to tie down......lets say the actual Titanics anchor to the base of your family car.

Congratulations Peter! I was forced into forking out loads for pram I never even used, after forever getting knocked in the ankles and having step over them everywhere, drapped with a thousand extra bags and handbags and sticking out umbrellas and toys and what not, I vowed I would never use a pram on my little boy when I was about, I carried him for 4 hours straight around longleat once, it's surprising how something so small can get so heavy! Fortunately he can walk on his own now finally the lazy so and so! /emoticons/biggrin.png

i have to make sure we pass the 15 job mark each day as that just covers the wages! usually we are good for 30-40 jobs per day

Gee We must be working way too hard as me and my lad cleaned 86 houses from 8 till half three
Without taking into account travel time to each job, getting kit in and out of van ladders moved etc thats 10m:46s per clean flat out for both of you. Even if all next to each other I wouldn't mind shadowing you and your lad for that day to see 86 proper cleans done and ready for the pub by half 3 :speechless:

Since joining here I see so mnay cleaners doing 20 a day etc. I just can not do that amount, I work hard and fast as I can and do 12-14 a day max, I maybe a little fussy and do the whole window and frames well. I like this amount as I can cope with it and also perform a great job on he house and get amazing feedback all the time, ok I may not get as much as many of the guys on here but to myself its ok money anyhting from £120-£160 a day, I ought this was good but reading here its not so good, but I just can not work any more beyond 12-14 a day the way I work. But still, I am hapy with this so its all good. I dont feel to knackered each day and not over rushed but still a busy day, may be when I compact more as I have not been doing it very long I may be able to do more but then I dont think I want to. Wold love to shadow someone that does 20 a day wfp, baffels me really that many can be done, with travel time, talking, packing up/setting up etc. /emoticons/smile.png
