Hi all,

I'm a newbie looking for some 'on the job' experience to learn the trade and improve my technique/knowledge of how things work. I'm based in Dulwich (SE22) and happy to lend a free pair of hands to anyone that can help. I'm available immediately, can travel and would just be happy with a day or two (AM or PM). For transparency I will be launching my own business soon but most likely near Clapham.

I might be alone in thinking this,but forget the shadowing someone, its unnecassary. This isnt carpentry, or bespoke brickwork...its window cleaning...Just get out there on your own and learn for yourself, make your own rules, and use your own methods. When you get your first customer, act like you've been doing it for years. And when you meet your first windy, don't let him know you're a newbie- it might be all friendly on here, but in the street there are some proper ***'eds about, best not to give them ammunition to put you down. Learn what you can from here, buy your gear, and get to work.

yes agree tolish I like to do everything myself and learn the painful way by mistakes...

at least as a newbie you can afford to take your time..

although...took three cleans of the same window for me to be happy today...and I have been cleaning since 14...
