So looks like i am stuck with the ladders..mate now let me downThink I'll take smurfs advice on board and keep em and see what happens workwise
Hi

Sorry I didn't get back to you about ladders,

but have been away.

Look to big for what I want, but thanks anyway.

Righty ladders and ankalad are for sale again now

A mate has got me a lovely set of 14 rung doubles which are a lot lighter

Can't split ladder and ankalad as drilled holes in the ladder for it

Will get another one from fleabay this time

Make yer mind up ffs:laugh:

All the same that 14 double would not reached the apex on the house in the pic /emoticons/biggrin.png

No but the cheap 30ft fibreglass pole and brush my mate is also sorting out for me will lol

Just gonna be running off outdoor tap for now but who knows i may start feeling the dark side of the force

sounds like a great mate...30ft fiberglass pole  and you thought thoses ladders where hard work...I think daft vader has stitched you up a kipper

If it does the job smurfy i don't care

It's only for the odd job ..not like I'll be using it all the time

If i like it i may then invest in decent gear but gotta dip your toes before you jump straight in

Plus we're not all 700 years old and frail lol

Some of us lift weight in the gym and enjoy the challenge

Plus the pole is costing nowt as he don't need it

Got it off fleabay a while ago but proper wfp setup now

Looking forward to how you find wfp Dave, I know it was the best thing I ever did in this game - be interesting if you start to drift towards wanting a decent wfp van setup..

Don't fight it (i did) If you like it then go for it, you won't look back!

(I spent years slagging it off, then when I decided to actually try it due to having so many houses with those plastic dividers, let's just say I walked home with my tail between my legs, it's bloody fantastic)

I have never slagged it off as i believe all methods have a place..even ragging the odd all window if needed

I am looking forward to giving it a go on some fascia jobs i have in a couple of weeks

For someone who has not done it before (well i had a go on a window when i saw a windie doing it in st albans once) it just seems a lot of aggro with tds ro di bbc abc 123 etc lol

When i can just get my bucket and off i go

Also still not convinced it would get all the stubborn bits off at high level when you can't see them

Will probably change my opinion once using it for a while on facia and upvc jobs etc

Yeah sometimes it won't shift hard dirt, but there's a Scraper you can add to the back of the brush for those bits,

If you were to buy your water, you wouldn't have to worry about all the tds and maintenance... That's what I'm now doing, buying it so I haven't gotta bother with any of it Myself!

Good idea

There is a guy 7 miles away who sells water £1 for a 25l drum but seeing what people are paying at these big filling sites £1 ses expensive. .but means no long distances to get it for me

Could be worth it, he may take a lower price if you buy more, I pay 3p a litre which works out at £15 for 500litres, not bad, considering the fortune it was costing me in water bills and resin etc, not to mention the complete faff of maintainance and having to turn it on off blah blah blah
