years ago i saw a minivan with 2 roof signs, one on each side of the van. they were so distinctive iv never forgotten them. now im thinking i might make up a couple and screw them at the roofline of my van

this image isnt exactly what i had in mind but you get the idea View attachment 4842

i was thinking more like this View attachment 4843 and somewhere i saw roof signs that had a "fishtail " profile at the back end ,that indicated speed , this stuck in my memory too

I love it. You wanna get your self a comma, British version of the vw rare but cheap. Trad van for a trad cleaner. Stick your ladders on top maybe get some 50's style signwriting. You'd defo get noticed :)View attachment 4848

I don't think there is any business that can't benefit from using a camper van for advertising, people love them. Only problem is they spend most of the time being repaired lol.

Yeah that's the trouble with old vehicles. Only way to get round it really is put a modern engine and brakes...... More of a hobby than for work tho

I once knew a guy that put a subaru engine in his camper. /emoticons/biggrin.png He said its a really easy fit, and apparently porsche engines fit easy too. He used to get a lot of stares as he cruised past beemers at 90mph.

yep thats right

this is digressing but sortof related

i once got talking to a bearded wonder called locally Nacton Nick who has a real old ratty looking land rover. told me it has a transit engine. so i said can i have a look? sure . under the bonnet it had the latest tranny mechanics !

i later found out hes a multi millionaire , faking that hes a new age traveller type

I think the 50's look would be very nice branding wise.

If money allowed though, I'd probably go down the defender route with retro/efficiency branding.
