I am really getting the itch

Its this damn weather and being stuck in an office! I come to work every day watching the windies cleaning shops etc and curse them lol Only because i want it to be me.

Dam stability if i could walk into a round right now i would do it but sadly stability is needed and cash to buy a round is non existent starting a round from scratch right now is not really an option as i am the only bread winner and we all know what its like stuff needs to be paid for.

One day, one day i will be back on the windows. Saying that when winter comes i shall be chuckling in my warm office :666:

winter spring autumn summer all the same to me doesnt really bother me all a challenge..

I worked both mon and tue in the pouring rain so not bothered what comes my way but..

yeh know what you mean about the steady income...but in my case...thats called the wife...mrs pays the mortgage..

Ha steels needed tomorrow then. Yeah winter didn't bother me to much when I was cleaning just took a little longer to get motivated in the morning! What annoyed me was having to not clean if the weather was really bad.

Yeah see that's where our problem is. Wife doesn't work due to all the drama in our life in the last few years and having a little one who is still at home. Although going nursery in the afternoons.

One day maybe the time will be right.

I fill in when not window cleaning by doing jobs on the house ...although the wife doesnt see it ...how much to get a plumber in to replace three radiators upstairs etc...

or do a re roof on the extension or build a porch or concrete the drive..yep the list is endless...

last two nights came back to tie the roses up at the front...er dont think wifey even knows they are there...

yep gav....your right family comes before anything else..

but yes...I did enjoy today on the windows..

taking it easy as I can see the light at the end that says....I am straight at last on my window cleaning...

now has the daughter come back from cyprus or not....nobody seems to know...

bloomin kids...whod have em...

but then again...ahhhhhhhh they keep ya young

SOrry to hear you predicament on the other thread mate. What about starting a mini round, say every saturday morning. Keep you in the game maybe and get you out in the sun (and rain) once a week

Ha funny story actually. When I was cleaning I used to have a chat with another windy in town. We often did shops in the mornings and bumped into each other most weeks. When I stopped he picked up most of my commercial jobs. Anyway I year or so we had to move house. New landlord paid this window cleaner for years to do this house. So he has been doing it. This year landlord says I won't put your rent up if you pay the window cleaner.

Ha so the very guy I used to chat to most weeks I now pay! That reminds me I owe him a fiver. I do the insides though.
