Van set up

WCF

Help Support WCF:

As far as costs go it all depends whether you want a fully plug and play system were you just plug your water pipe in and the system makes your pure water. Or you have what most people are talking about when they say they built there own system is a tank pump a pump controller. and you fill your van tank from a static tank from there house or garage.

no diy set up u can put the 4040 ro and filters in van with a auto shut off ive got 650 tank and 4040 ro with 2 pre filters and a shut off

spanners and vice grips

pole holders do wat most do and use drain pipe cheap an easy

if u have the money get one shot as @Jake swears by it and it looks great its all easy done u just need to take ur time

I wasn't Including RO in my £700 diy, as mines static, but you can start out with a £200 or less small one from pure freedom if needs be, I've started buying my water now, much easier for me being in such a hard water area,

Yeah one shot is great, my favourite bit of kit in my setup

Ha ha, cut me up? I was literally laughing the whole time I was on there, there are loads on here that left ciu because of how cr@p it was,
Why have you suddenly turned up here then? To be a mod? That's why I asked if you were married, I new you wouldn't be, you literally breathe window cleaning  o_O

Point is, clean it up is the place where people say things like 'so you can fit a crash tested system yourself?'

The reason no ones agreeing with you is because your taking ciu language

Nothing wrong with a diy, if you can pay someone to do it safely, then you can do it safely yourself,

Nobody's hating, you've just got a way of being a right old plonker sometimes!

No DIY can have an RO and shut off? really? a shut off is a piece of cake and why would strapping a RO unit in the van be hard?

Don't understand?

These systems are really NOT complicated AT ALL, £700 I think it quite expensive unless you are including poles etc?

How much pure do you use in a day? realistically? I use maybe 250 tops, for me on my own that is more than enough, a 250 baffled tank is what? £100?

You can make your own pump box for another £100? including battery, and the box can also double up as a trolley pump box.

Add in extras, clips, pipe, bits and bobs, say another £50-£100, that is £250-£300 for a simple basic van set up that can double up as a trolley (when you add one).

Now you could easily add a 4040 system to this, drill a hole and put a in and if you want an out on the bottom of the van for the price of the RO system, wooden plate and bolt it to it, simples.

A cut off is a piece of cake, hell I could make one out of two bits of metal stuck in the tank, when water hits it it cuts the RO, but you can easily buy cheap sensors to cut it off, or even a good old ball float like in your toilet for next to nothing.

It really isn't rocket science.
